Coding (BUS1037)

No coding experience necessary! This introductory class teaches the foundations of computer science and basic programming, with an emphasis on helping students develop computational thinking, logic, and problem-solving skills. The content is fully web-based, with students writing and running code in the browser using the JavaScript language. Lessons consist of teacher demonstrations, video tutorials, short quizzes, example programs to explore, and written programming exercises with hours of hands-on programming practice.  Hands-on activities in the classroom also help with problem-solving, critical thinking, and teamwork.  Students from beginners to advanced programming skills will find value in this course with various projects, assignments, and activities tailored to their learning needs.
