Notetaking & Study Skills (BUS1003)Notetaking & Study Skills is a course in which students will learn different studying techniques, learning principles, and organizational skills for effective and efficient learning. Reading and notetaking skills are the main focus of the course as well as techniques provided to develop listening skills, study habits, and memory retention. ACT and SAT vocabulary awareness along with test taking strategies are emphasized. Synergy, organization and time management are discussed and applied throughout the semester. These skills can be used by all students whether they are career or college bound.
Related and Recommended courses: Many students take Notetaking & Study Skills their freshman or sophomore year, and then take College Test Prep their junior year, a class also through the Business Department. |
